Nunsense

Dan Goggin's hilarious musical, "Nunsense" ran from Friday, March 5th and through Monday, March 22nd, 2010.

Directed by Howard and Kathryn Laycock Little. Musical Direction by Kathryn Laycock Little. Choreography by Kristen Rae Bradley.

"Nunsense" is the story of five nuns of the Little Sisters of Hoboken who are staging a variety show. Fifty-two residents of the convent were accidentally killed when their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, served them tainted vichyssoise while some of the nuns were away playing bingo. Upon discovering the disaster, Mother Superior had a vision to start a greeting card company to raise funds for the burial. The cards were a success, but the purchase of an entertainment center for the convent left them short of the funds needed to bury the final four sisters. With the deceased nuns on ice in the deep freeze, they decide to stage a variety show in the Mount Saint Helen's School auditorium to raise the necessary amount. Participating in the project are Mother Superior Mary Regina, a former circus performer who can not resist the spotlight; her competitive but dignified rival, second-in-command Sister Mary Hubert; Sister Robert Anne, a streetwise nun from Brooklyn; Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is determined to be the world's first ballerina nun; and wacky, childlike Sister Mary Amnesia, who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head.

Prior to entering the convent:
SISTER MARY REGINA was LUONE INGRAM
SISTER MARY HUBERT was JANET GREENHALGH
SISTER ROBERT ANNE was JEN HANDY
SISTER MARY AMNESIA was AMBER KAYE SMITH
SISTER MARY LEO was KRISTEN RAE BRADLEY
